The original Prague Post was the longest running English language newspaper in Central Europe, founded in the early 1990s. In 2013 I was approached by the publisher to help them transition into a fully digital publication as they quit printing the paper edition.

In the role of Digital & Media Director, Inkybrain successfully transformed The Prague Post from an ailing print-based publishing business into positive revenue territory; including rebuilding and rebranding their web site (using open source software CMS Joomla), redesigning subscription-based PDF print publication and updating the weekly newsletter system and adding analytics services.

Revitalised social media channels to maximise audience interaction, with month-on-month growth in audience share. We were successful in transitioning their popular special supplements into a PDF format (with larger distribution reach), and expanded online subscriptions for their digital friendly formatted newspaper.

Over two and a half years, the company was successful in generating enough revenue to settle their very large tax and debt arrears with the Czech tax authorities and filed bankruptcy protection in April of 2016. In 2017, the bankruptcy administrators allowed the domain registration to lapse, and the site was then squatted by someone who has been scraping content from it.
